About Archean Chemical Industries Ltd

Archean Chemical Industries Limited (ACIL) is a leading marine chemical manufacturer with a focus on exporting bromine, industrial salt, and sulphate of potash. In 2021, ACIL has an installed capacity of 28,500 MT of bromine, 3,000,000 MT of industrial salt, and 130,000 MT of sulphate of potash. ACIL's manufacturing facility is located in Gujarat, India and straddles approximately 240 sq. km, and includes its own quality department, effluent treatment, and sewage treatment plant, as well as a captive Jakhau Jetty and Mundra Port. In 2011, ACIL made strategic investments of Rs. 225.05 million, and continued to grow through export expansion and productive investments, launching operations for bromine in China in 2014, production of sulphate of potash in Belgium in 2015, and conversion of its Private Limited Company to a Public Limited Company in 2021. In November 2022, ACIL successfully raised Rs. 2420 crores through a public issue. It was done through an issue of Rs. 805 crores and an offer for sale of Rs. 1615 crores.
