About IVP Ltd

IVP, incorporated in 1929, is an Indian-based manufacturer of vanaspati vegetable oils, plasticisers, spark plugs and foundry chemicals. Initially known as Indian Vegetable Products, its operations were taken over by the Atlanta Group in 1985. Throughout the decades, IVP has diversified its operations to include industrial ceramics, spark plugs, hialumina ceramic products, plasticisers and paint. In 1983, the company began to export its products, with overseas markets such as the US, UK, Germany, Italy, France, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Malaysia, UAE and Saudi Arabia, amongst others. Furthermore, in 2001, they bought-back a total of 103,262,63 equity shares in a move to improve the efficiency of the steel division.IVP is a company of many years, with a long-established history in the production of various different products and services. Its continued success and abilities to progress and diversify have made it a great example for other businesses in India.
