About Welcure Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd

Welcure Drugs And Pharmaceuticals was established in June 1992 by D C Jain, Sanjeev Jain and Sandeep Jain. It offers a range of bulk drugs, drugs intermediates, pharmaceutical formulations and other products such as ampicillin, trimethoprim, amoxycillin, cloxacillin, ibuprofen, 6APA, WELSTAP X CLOX, ETHAMBUTOL RIFA Z, CETIRIZIN and NORTIN. The company raised Rs 4cr from a public issue in 1994, part finance a Rs 7cr project in Rajasthan and invest in its subsidiary A K Laboratories. To facilitate this expansion, the company issued a Rs 7.09cr rights issue of equity shares.

Apart from this, additional products like Stevioside, WELCEE, WELGESIC, WELIC, WELOXY, WELRELEEF and XDRYL, were introduced in the year 2000–01. The company also entered into a collaboration agreement with Advanced Medical Care Inc, New Jersey, to set up joint venture facilities at their existing plant. In 2013, Welcure changed its marketing policy from sale through wholesale distributors to doorway sales, reaching every corner of the country through sales personnel and stockists. As of 2020, Welcure holds ISO 9002 certification with double accreditation from ABS Quality Evaluation Inc and Registrar of Accreditation Board of USA.
