About Veedol Corporation Ltd

Tide Water Oil Co. I Ltd., a part of Andrew Yule Group, manufactures and sells engine lubricants for automotive and industrial applications in India. The five plants are located at Howrah, Royapuram, Turbhe, Silvassa and Faridabad and manufacture a variety of automotive and industrial oils, coolants and brake fluids. They market the Veedol and ENEOS range of lubes and are renowned for their quality and variety. They entered into a technical collaboration agreement with Nippon Oil Corporation (formerly Mitsubishi Oil Co Ltd) and Cofran Promotion Switzerland in 1987 and 1994 respectively. The company also entered into technology transfer tie-up with Nippon Mitsubishi Oil Company Japan in 1994. During 199697, they expanded their installed capacity to 84,198,145 ltrs and completed the modernisation programme in their Howrah plant. In May 2004, they launched the ENEOS range of products which became popular in select markets. During 200910, they acquired two windmills of 3 MW capacity and in 2011, became a subsidiary of Veedol International Ltd. Subsequently in 201415 they established two wholly-owned subsidiaries to cater to the Middle East and Europe. In 201718 they purchased 100 shares of Veedol UK Ltd. to relaunch the brand in the UK. Thus, Tide Water Oil Co. I Ltd. has established itself as a renowned manufacturer and seller of automobile and industrial lubricants by setting up 5 plants in various states and expanding its business to UK, Middle East and Europe markets.
