VB Desai Financial Services (VBDFS) was established in September 1985 and is based in India. Specializing in financial services, the company offers merchant banking services, corporate financing, debt placement services, leasing, hire purchase, investment, and consultancy. VBDFS has become a member of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Over-the-Counter Exchange of India (OTCEI) and trades on these exchanges. To ensure continual profitability, VBDFS released a rights issue at a Rs. 15 premium during 199394 and raised capital through equity shares and the conversion of nonconvertible debentures into equity shares. With this effort, the company is aiming for greater heights in its profitability in the coming years.
