About Ugro Capital Ltd

Ugro Capital Limited (formerly Chokhani Securities Limited) is a systemically important Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC-NDSI) registered since 11th March 1998. The company specializes in servicing MSMEs in the Healthcare, Education, Chemicals, Food Processing/FMCG, Hospitality, Electrical Equipment, Components, Auto Components, and Light Engineering segments. In 2003, it applied for membership of National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), Mumbai. On 13th June 2019, the National Company Law Tribunal approved the Scheme of Arrangement between Asia Pragati Capfin Private Limited and Ugro Capital Limited. This resulted in a transfer of the lending business of APCPL with Ugro Capital Limited and the Scheme took effect from 30th June 2019. To complete the transition, Ugro Capital Limited had allotted 13565891 equity shares of Rs 10 each to the shareholders of APCPL on 30th July 2019.
