Moneyboxx Finance Limited is an RBI-registered Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) that was founded in 1994 as 'Dhanuka Commercial Limited'. With a main focus on consumer lending products, including retail finance, salaried personal loans, business loans and SME lending, the company has gained a positive reputation in the competitive commercial lending market. In 2019, the company successfully changed its name from Dhanuka Commercial Limited to Moneyboxx Finance Limited, as well as obtained a new Certificate of Incorporation and Certificate of Registration from the RBI. Furthermore, Moneyboxx Capital Private Limited acquired the majority 71.21 shareholding of 10797879 equity shares from the erstwhile promoters, and subsequently applied to BSE for Moneyboxx Capital Private Limited to be classified as a promoter. Moneyboxx Finance, an NBFC providing small-ticket business loans, has reported that its asset under management (AUM) more than doubled during fiscal year 2023-24, crossing Rs 720 crore. The company aims to nearly double its AUM to Rs 1,400 crore by March 2025 and plans to expand its presence in south India this financial year. With cumulative disbursements of over Rs 1,200 crore as of March 2024, Moneyboxx has provided loans to over 1.5 lakh borrowers.
