About The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd

HiTech Gears (HTGL) was incorporated in 1986 and is based in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The company specialises in manufacturing automotive gears and shafts, primarily for Hero Honda Motors (HHML). The company has developed an array of additional equipment to serve the requirements of HHML and other clientele, such as Maruti Udyog, Shriram Honda Power Equipment and Escorts. It has been granted QS9000 accreditation by Underwriters Laboratories and is in possession of an ISO 9000 Certificate to stay compliant with innovative quality standards that are becoming standardised all over the world. Additionally, HTGL has tied up with Kyushu Musashi, a subsidiary of the Honda Motors in Japan, to manufacture forgings that are used as raw material for transmission gears and shafts. This specialised technology is the first of its kind to be transferred outside of the Honda Group. The company is looking to expand its reach by introducing eengineering services, as a separate entity, to offer product and process life cycle management, training and consulting services. It is also working hard to scale its business in the export market, with suppliers spread across Cummins Worldwide, Germany and the UK. Nevertheless, the company expects to experience a positive progression within the domestic sector, particularly with HHML, its largest client.
