BBTCL is engaged in the businesses of tea, timber, and engineering products. It is the largest producer of tea in India and has a presence in over 40 countries. BBTCL has three tea estates in India, which are located in Assam, West Bengal, and Nilgiris. It also has a timber division, which is engaged in the production of quality timber and plywood. The engineering division manufactures and supplies a range of products such as industrial boilers, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
