About Sinclairs Hotels Ltd

Sinclairs Hotel & Transportation SHTL was established in 1971 as a private limited company and was promoted by Sinclair Freight and Chartering Consultants. With a Kolkata High Court order, SFCC was incorporated with SHTL and later on SHTL was changed into a public limited company in 1981. The company has two divisions: the hotel sector and the travel sector which has a separate branch in Mumbai. In 1990, with Benchmark Homes & Resorts Ltd., the firm was amalgamated. SHTL also has a luxury resort in Dooars, West Bengal that started operations in 1999. The resort is specialised in having an Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Centre that provides ayurvedic therapies. With almost 50 years of expertise, SHTL still stands as an eminent name in the hospitality and travel business.
