Sibar Autoparts, established in 1983 as a private limited company and converted into a public company in 1994, manufactures and markets aluminium hard chrome plated cylinder kits for two-wheelers. Its products are suited for vehicles produced by top manufacturers such as Motto Beccane, Peugeot, TVS, Enfield Bajaj, Hero Majestic and Kinetic. Around 90% of its production is exported to the Netherlands, Mauritius, Italy and France. To increase its installed capacity and expand its production line, Sibar Autoparts has invested Rs. 300 lacs and Rs. 13.25 crores in various projects. As a result, the installed capacity was increased to 540,000 cylinders per annum in 1998 and the company entered an agreement with the Italian company, M/s. EUROCILINDRO s.r.i to improve its operational efficiency.
