About RSWM Ltd

Rajasthan Spinning and Weaving Mills (RSWML) was established in 1960 and is managed by Chairman L N Jhunjhunwala and ViceChairman and Managing Director Shekhar Agarwal. From 1994, the company has undergone an ambitious plan where it increased its spindleage by 18,800, adding 24 looms to its units as well as setting up a processing house at its Banswara unit with a 156 lac mtr of fabric pa capacity. The company products, under the well known 'Mayur' brand are exported to Europe and the US and with its joint venture project with Australian and Belgian partners, Bhilwara Melba De Witte Ltd it established a market for automotive furnishing fabric. In 1998-99, RSWML increased the installed capacity of spindles and looms to 131,376 and 157 respectively. With a term loan of Rs.24 crores from PNB, the company setup a Yarn Dyeing project, and in 2003 acquired Rishabhdev Textile Mills unit with a 2.8 MW of power at a cost of Rs.10.00 crores.
