About Resonance Specialities Ltd

Armour Polymers is an Indian private limited company established in 1989 and engaged in the production of Pyridines and Picolines for use in the pharmaceuticals, dyestuffs and agro-chemical industries. The company went public in March of 1990 and in February 1992, it issued a public issue to part-finance a project for the manufacture of 324 tones a year of picoline alpha beta and gamma and 346 tones a year of pyridine. These products are being used as solvents in various industries, as raw materials in agro-chemicals, as denaturants in the alcohol industry and in the rubber and tyre sector. Additionally, the company manufactures kinds of derivatives like Cyanopyridines - with an upgradation of the Tarapur plant from 500 TPA to 1500 TPA being done in close cooperation with Reilly Chemicals S.A. Reilly Belgium. Armour Polymers was founded by technocrat Dr. Atma B Gupta with a wealth of experience in both Indian and overseas teaching and research.
