About Vivid Global Industries Ltd

Vivid Chemicals Ltd (VCL), promoted by Sudhir M Mody, is engaged in the manufacture of Tobias Acid - a dye and pigment intermediate. It is the only manufacturer of the said material in the organised sector. Established in 1973, the company completed a project to produce Beta Naphthol (BN) in 1987, however, faced difficulties due to increased prices of its raw material. This led it to modify its production to Tobias Acid in 1992. To increase the capacity of Tobias Acid, VCL went to the capital market to part-finance. Additionally, it manufactures Phenyl Jacid, Acetyl Jacid and Rhoduline Acid, which are utilised either in the dyestuff industry or for coating IC circuit boards in the electronics industry. VCL exports 40% of its products to markets such as Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Europe, Indonesia and the US.
