About Premier Explosives Ltd

Premier Explosives, promoted by A N Gupta and S V Kannan who both have over 20 years of experience in the industry, was founded in 1980 and is located near Singareni Collieries. Initially manufacturing small/large diameter explosives and detonators, the company has since diversified into the production of detonating fuses (4 million yearly) and Penta Erythritol Tetra Nitrate (100 tonnes per annum). It supplies its products to Coal India and Neyveli Lignite, and shifted into the production of white button mushrooms with export potential. It entered the area of rock blasting and drilling contracts and launched IT venture vertical portal Chemnetindia.com. Premier Explosives has been awarded ISO 9002 Certification for its explosives, detonators and detonating divisions.
