About Pioneer Embroideries Ltd

Pioneer Embroideries PEL has been in the embroidery design and manufacturing business since its incorporation in 1991 at Bombay. By 1997 they had started to expand their operations to meet the demands of the fashion industry, importing 12 computerised embroidery machines with an installed capacity of 46 lakh meters per annum. In 1999-2000 the Crochet Lace Division started its commercial production and 2000-01 saw PEL acquire 49.11 per cent stake in Salzer Textiles Limited, an Embroidery Manufacturer, consolidating their manufacturing base in this production. This stake was increased to 52.49 per cent, making Salzer Textiles a subsidiary company and during 2001-02 PEL purchased the manufacturing base of Fancy Corporation Ltd in Borivali, Mumbai. By 2004-05, PEL had increased their installed capacity by 197.6 crore and gone on to merge Salzer Textiles and J J Textiles Ltd with the company. PEL now runs a total installed capacity of 335.8 crore Nos, further strengthening their embroidery and laces business.
