About National Plastic Technologies Ltd

National Plastic Technologies Ltd is an established Indian manufacturing company based in Chennai, with manufacturing facilities located in Chennai and Pondicherry. The company is engaged in the production and supply of injection-moulded plastic products primarily components for automobiles, computer peripherals and consumer durables in India and across the globe. In 1995 the company went public via a public issue to raise funds for expansion and diversification. In 2005 the company was awarded the TS 16949 certification by RWTUV Germany for their Chennai plant and ISO 9002 certification for both the Chennai and Pondicherry plants. In 2006, the company set up a new unit in Kala Amb, Himachal Pradesh to cater to the IT industry. During the year 2008 the company changed their name to National Plastic Technologies Ltd and further increased their production capacity with the addition of 800 tons to 8775 tons.
