About Kunststoffe Industries Ltd

Kunststoffe Industries KIL was incorporated in Nov.85 originally as Western Leasing. It changed it's name to the current one in Aug.87, and was promoted by Pravin Sheth. In 1995, it made a rights issue and with the funds from this, it financed the expansion of its production facilities for solid and profile walled HDPE pipes and repaid a long-term foreign currency loan to IDBI. KIL has a technical collaboration with Troisdorfer and Kunststoffe Germany which produce HDPE pipes and HDPE/PP tanks and vessels, which are used by semi-government bodies like the Gujarat & Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporations & large chemical factories. The rights issue consisted of 39.5 lac equity shares at a premium of 5, amounting to a total of Rs 5.92cr.
