About Munoth Financial Services Ltd

Munoth Financial Services Limited, incorporated in 1995, went on an IPO in 1996, and issued 3780000 Equity Shares of Rs.10 each. It has branches in Bangalore and Jaipur, and is engaged in Merchant Banking, Investment Services, and Share Broking. In Fiscal 2001, the company made an issue of 113000 Equity Shares of Rs.10/each at a premium of Rs.90 each, and 112000 Equity Shares payable in consideration of otherwise than cash to M/s Priory Investment Mauritius Limited. This raised the paid up Equity Share Capital to Rs.522.6 lakhs. Budget reforms in 2001, including increased investment limits, exempted capital gains tax and formation of a debt market clearing corporation are expected to directly benefit the Capital markets. Munoth also plans to start Future and Options trading activity, with the application to start operations filed with SEBI.
