Company Information

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) is a public sector oil refining and petrochemical company that was incorporated in 1988 with its headquarters in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. The company is a subsidiary of ONGC and is engaged in the refining of crude oil and manufacturing of various petrochemical products.

MRPL operates in three main lines of business: refining of crude oil, production of petrochemical products, and marketing of petroleum products. The company has a refining capacity of 15 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA). Its top products include motor spirit, high speed diesel, aviation turbine fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, naphtha, kerosene, and petrochemicals. Its popular brands include MRPL Premium, MRPL Supreme, and MRPL Super.
