About Magellanic Cloud Ltd

Magellanic Cloud Ltd, formerly known as South India Projects Ltd, was established in December, 04 1981 and is engaged in the business of securities trading and investment. During financial year 2014-15, the company’s issued and paid-up capital increased from Rs. 19956500 to Rs. 30333880 in the form of bonus shares of Rs. 10 each. The company became listed on both Calcutta Stock Exchange Ltd. (CSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), after being approved by BSE Ltd. Moreover, during FY 2016, the company diversified their business operations by including Information Technology and software related businesses as a new object clause in their main objects. During that same year, two entities, Joseph Sudheer Reddy Thumma and Jagan Mohan Reddy Thumma, acquired 1229346 equity shares ofRs. 10 each, i.e. 40.53% of the company’s total equity and voting share capital at Rs. 25/ per fully paid-up equity share, and a public offer for the acquisition of 26% of the equity and voting share capital of the company was made in compliance with SEBI regulations. During the FY 2016, the company granted a loan of Rs 83208979 and followed the regulations of Section 186 of the Companies Act 2013.
