About Lime Chemicals Ltd

Lime Chemicals Limited (LCL), incorporated in the State of Maharashtra, is a business that manufactures Calcium Carbonate and is chaired by Mr. R H Meghani and managed by Mr. H I Dawoodani. In 1996, a rights issue and detachable and tradeable warrants was issued to the existing shareholders of the company. Over the 1996-97 and 1997-98 time period, the installed capacity of Calcium Carbonate was boosted from 21,600 MTPA to 27,600 MTPA and then to 62,500 MTPA with an increase of 7,100 MTPA respectively. In 1997-98, TCL amalgamated with LCL and the shareholders of TCL received one equity share of the company for every TCL share that they held. This amalgamation allowed the increased capacity of calcium carbonate.
