About India Homes Ltd

Isibars Inc. was established in 1987 as Khanna Roy Heavy Engineering and was taken over by the present promoter, H L Gupta, in 1990 and renamed as Isibars in May 1991. The company specialises in the production of alloy steel and stainless steel rolled and colddrawn products of various sizes and sections, with the capacity of 40,000 tons a year. Furthermore, Isibar expanded its capacity for coldfinished bars to 10,000 tons per annum. In 2000-01, they issued ICICI Ltd. cumulative zero optionale convertible debentures of face value Rs. 53.31 Crores at a discounted value of Rs. 23.50 Crores, and non-convertible debentures of Rs. 14.52 Crores at a discounted value of Rs. 6.4 Crores. Unfortunately, the company had to approach BIFR (Board for industrial and financial reconstruction) due to erosion of net worth. Isibar manufactures and markets stainless steel bars and flats which are corrosion-resistant and used in various industries like automotive, textile, machine tool, chemical, food, dairy and marine.
