About Hindustan Bio Sciences Ltd

Hindustan Softel Ltd was established in 1991 and started operations in 1992. Initially established as Garuda Cements and involved in the Cement industry, the company experienced sluggish growth and decided to diversify their business into Bio Technology and Pharmaceuticals activities. Consequently, the company changed its name from Garuda Cements to Hindustan BioSciences Ltd in 2001. Thereafter, the company further diversified into the software field and took on the name Hindustan Softel Limited. Subsequently, in 2004, Venkar Chemicals Ltd became a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, and the name of Hindustan Softel Limited was changed back to Hindustan Bio Sciences Ltd.
