About Panacea Biotec Ltd

Panacea Biotec Limited (PBL), India’s leading research-based health management company, originated in 1984 and since then has grown to become the nation’s second largest vaccine producer. Its wide range of products include innovative prescription drugs across therapeutic areas such as diabetes, renal disease, gastrointestinal, osteoporosis and antituberculosis. The company owns a number of ultra-modern, state-of-the-art production facilities that comply with USFDA, UKMHRA, SAMCA and WACGMP standards as well as four research and development centers. These are supported by collaborations and tie-ups with global industry leaders. To date, PBL owns 24 product patents valid in more than 60 countries and has forged landmark agreements on an international level. Recent collaborations include Netherland's Vaccine Institute, PT Bio Farma, The National Institute of Immunology, National Institute of Health, and Punjab University. Besides manufacturing and marketing, the company is involved in healthcare delivery, with a 220-bed multispecialty hospital, and holds a number of product patents in the US and India. PBL's step down subsidiaries Radhika Heights Limited and its subsidiaries were demerged into RVHL in 2020 and the Pharmaceutical Formulations Brands of PBPL in India and Nepal were sold to Mankind Pharma Limited in 2022. This strategic approach positions PBL at the forefront of global health management.
