About Global Health Ltd

Global Health Limited (quickly known as GHL) was established on August 13th 2004, and converted to a public limited company on July 31st 2021. It is a renowned private multispeciality tertiary care provider operating in the North and East regions of India, which provides healthcare services in over 30 medical specialties. Dr. Naresh Trehan founded GHL, with current 5 hospitals operational in its network. On November 2009, the company opened its flagship hospital in Gurugram with 200 installed beds and 50 doctors across key specialties, and its Patna hospital currently has 228 installed beds and employs over 125 doctors, designed to accommodate 500 beds. In January 2021, GHL decided to raise capital by
issuing 500 crores in fresh issue and 1,705.57 crores in offer for sale. Finally, it came out with a public issue in November 2022, raising a total of Rs. 2,205.57 crores. Global Health Limited (GHL) is among the leading private medical care providers operating from the North and East regions of India. Founded by Dr Naresh Trehan, a renowned cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeon, GHL has a network of five hospitals spread across the country and provides healthcare services over 30 medical specialties. Their flagship hospital in Gurugram was opened in November 2009 and had 200 installed beds along with 50 doctors across specialties. The Patna hospital is larger and has 228 installed beds, designed to accommodate over 500, and employs over 125 doctors. To finance capital expenditure and general corporate purposes, GHL held an initial public offering in January 2021, seeking to raise 500 crores in fresh issue and 1,705.57 crores in offer for sale. The successful public issue in November 2022 allowed GHL to raise total of Rs. 2,205.57 crores.
