About Fiberweb (India) Ltd

PVD Plast Mould Industries PVD was established on 22 October 1985, and is promoted by the Kanakia family, and Pravin V Sheth and Sudhir V Sheth. Its other group companies include Bharat Pipes & Fittings and Kunststoffe Industries. In 1993, the company launched a rights issue at Rs 15 premium for a total value of Rs 8.75 crore to part-finance its proposed modernisation and diversification scheme. The total estimated cost of the project was Rs 10.50 crore. The company is specialized in manufacturing of jerry cans, caps, lids, gate valves, foot valves, crates, water tanks, vessels, waste bags and spunbonded nonwoven polypropylene fabrics. It has clients including Hindustan Petroleum, BPCL, IOC, Standard Industries and Pidilite Industries. Its waste bags are bought guaranteed by Corovin, a globally renowned supplier of the product. Moreover, their polypropylene fabrics are sold to two companies in the US and Germany.
