Wall Street Finance established in 1986 is a public limited company offering a wide range of financial services including Portfolio management, Bill discounting, Fixed Deposits, Leasing, Hire Purchase, Auto-Finance and many more. They have been conferred with the Category I merchant banker status by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). With over 1000 centers across India & Associated in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, London, Sydney and New York, they are capable of marketing primary issues. They have the first full-fledged money changers license by the RBI and are now operational in 16 centers nationwide. They are a corporate member of the Vadodara stock exchange and have already transferred the membership to newly set up Wall Street Capital Markets. With an aim to raise funds from abroad and expand their services in other parts of the world, the company plans to set up a 100% owned subsidiary in Mauritius. They are also venturing into inward money remittances which require permission from the RBI. During the FY 1999-2000, 6 lakh Cumulative Convertible Preference shares, each worth Rs. 100, were issued for repayment of deposits and high cost debts.
