About Welspun Living Ltd

Welspun India, a part of the US$2.7 billion Welspun Group, is one of the largest manufacturers of home textiles in the world. With a presence in bedding, bath, flooring and textile products, the company has a distribution network in over 32 countries across the world. Founded in 1985, Welspun India has two textile manufacturing facilities in Anjar, Gujarat and Vapi. Over the years, the company has acquired several companies, such as Glofame Cotspin Industries Ltd, Christys of UK, Sorema Tapates e Cortinas de Banho SA (Sorema) of Portugal, Welspun Global Brands Ltd., and Prasert Multiventure Private Limited. Welspun also recently partnered with Cotton Egypt Association to promote and market Egyptian cotton products. At present, the company’s total installed capacity of cotton terry towels stands at 23,500 MTPA, with plans for capacity expansion in place. They also have advanced textiles, needle entangled advance textile plant and smart color lab for product innovation. Welspun India has reaped awards and recognition for its contribution to sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts. The company plans investments of Rs.2250 mn over FY21-FY22.
