About Voith Paper Fabrics India Ltd

Porritts and Spencer Asia (PSAL), started operations in 1974, and is a subsidiary of the UK-based multinational. PSAL holds a 59.21% equity, after issuing bonus shares in the ratio of 2:5 in 199495. It manufactures up to 10 different varieties of felt used in paper, pulp and cement industries, in addition to various other technical textiles. In 2000, takeover by German company Voith Bespannungstechnik GmbH gave them majority stake and in 2007, the company changed its name to Voith Paper Fabrics India Limited. With certification from TUV Cert Germany for ISO 9001, PSAL manufactures filter fabric, felt for ironing clothes, and geotextiles made of 100% polypropylene material.
