Company Information

Viji Finance Ltd, a finance service provider incorporated in October of 1994 operating in 1 segment, owned two subsidiaries as of March 31st 2019. In 2016-17, the company commissioned new pouring station and slitting line1 and acquired the entire shareholding of Praxair India Private Ltd in JSW Praxair Oxygen Pvt Ltd (renamed JSW Industrial Gases Pvt Ltd). The company had 42 direct and indirect subsidiaries and 11 joint ventures during the same period. During the year, 3 subsidiary companies were acquired/formed, 6 ceased to be subsidiaries and JSW Natural Resources Mozambique Lda was formed. JSW Steel Italy S.r.l was also formed in 2016-17 in Italy. The company entered 3 separate JV agreements for development of coal blocks and commenced strategic technical collaboration with JFE Steel Corporation. In December 2016 the face value of the equity shares were divided into Rs. 1. In April 2017, the company issued 2500 5.25 Fixed Rate Senior Unsecured Notes due 2022 aggregating to USD 500 million and bonus shares of Rs. 1 were allotted in August 2017. The company also received loan from the MD and made provision of Rs. 1405000 for non performing assets.
