Apple Finance is a financial services and information technology company that provides corporate finance, consumer finance, trade finance, and investment banking services. It is also a category 1 merchant banker and a member of the OTCEI and the National Stock Exchange. It has recently received approval from the SEBI to sponsor a mutual fund and has set up an asset management company. Its IT division, Aptech, is a leader in computer education, corporate consultancy, and training resources. In addition, Aptech has achieved ISO 9001 certification. Additionally, Apple Finance is setting up a 100 EOU for granite mining in Andhra Pradesh. In order to diversify and expand, the company is also entering the hire-purchase transport sector, investing in software and IT hardware facilities for export-related earnings, and planning to set up a bank and insurance company. Furthermore, it has a joint-venture, which has 37 branches and operates through 3500 retail outlets in collaborations with companies like Whirlpool, LG, Godrej, Phillips, Panasonic, Daewoo, Thomson, and Onida.
