About Transchem Ltd

Transchem TL, incorporated in 1976, is a public limited company promoted by Chemitex Corporation and Chairman Rajen Deshai. It was founded with a public issue of 14.22 lakh zero-interest FCDs of Rs.120.00 amounting to Rs.17.07 crores in 1993. It manufactures bulk drugs in Maharashtra, primarily focusing on frusemide fenbenzole and albendazoie. The company has an MoU with Dalsem Reciap Agro Industries Holland for their mushroom project and jointly with FTC Holland for the technological transfer of growing asparagus, strawberries and raspberries. In the year 1999-2000, its mushroom division performed well, and TL has commercialized the process for Cloursulon and Toldium Phos Sodium. It has acquired a contract from an international firm during the year 2000-2001 for the supply of Triclabendazole, and is emerging as a foremost company in the product.
