About Tamil Nadu Petro Products Ltd

Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL) is an India-based company engaged in the manufacture of chemicals and petrochemicals. Founded in 1984, it is promoted by Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (TIDCO) and Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd (SPIC). The company has production units for Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), Normal Paraffin, Epichlorohydrin (ECH) and Caustic Soda with a total installed capacity of 1,20,000 MT per annum. It also manufactures Hydrochloric Acid, Compressed Hydrogen and Ammonium Chloride with an additional installed capacity of 24,270 MT per annum. Its products are used for a variety of applications including detergents, epoxy resins, cleaning products, textiles, and lubricants. Additionally, it offers a Dearomatised product called NParaffin Anhydrate. It has also successfully completed projects like the 9 MW Windfarm in Coimbatore and installation of 18.6 MW Captive Power Plant. It has also won Safety Awards from the Government of Tamil Nadu for having lowest weighted frequency rate in accidents.
