About Sunflag Iron & Steel Company Ltd

Founded in Kenya in 1937, Sunflag Iron and Steel Company Limited is now an established unit of the Sunflag Group, owned by Satyadev Bhardwaj. Their integrated plant in India provides high quality steel, made from iron ore and non-coking coal, to be used in the automobile leaf spring, engineering goods and forgings industry. The plant features a 150,000 metric ton Direct Reduction Plant, a 50-60 metric ton ultra-high power Electric Arc Furnace, a 18 stand Continuous mill and a 15.5 MW Waste Heat Recovery Project. The company also produces high-value stainless steel, which has a high potential for tremendous growth in both domestic and international markets.
