About Steel Strips Wheels Ltd

Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL), part of the multi-faceted Steel Strips group, has been commercially producing automobile wheel rims since 1991 with a capacity of 1.8 million at its state-of-the-art manufacturing unit at Chandigarh. For the first time in the country, the company has introduced Cathodic Electro Deposition in its product range and its surface coating project has also been supplied, erected, and commissioned from a leading US company. Its main clients include Maruti Udyog, MUL, Mahindra and Mahindra, Bajaj, Tempo, and Honda Siel Car. It has tied up with Ring Tech Co. Ltd for 3 years and modernization and expansion programmes have been undertaken. In addition, the company has tied up with Japanese technical consultants for process and product quality control, training in wheel design, etc. Furthermore, the company plans to introduce tractor wheels in the near future. With a long and distinguished track-record of experience, SSWL is striving to achieve the ISO 9000 certification and improve the quality of its products and services.
