About Star Housing Finance Ltd

Star Housing Finance Limited, formerly known as Akme Star Housing Finance Limited, is a Housing Finance Company (HFC) registered with the National Housing Bank, providing loans to individuals, corporate and developers for purchase, construction, development and repair of residential and commercial properties in India. The company was founded and promoted by Late Dr. Shri. Mohan Lal Nagda and is currently managed by a group of housing finance professionals. The company offers assistance to EWS/ LIG/ MIG households to achieve home ownership, renovation/ repair of existing units and extension loans, unlocking the value of their property by loan against its unutilized value, as well as construction loans for builders. In 2019, the company signed a strategic partnership with Arkfin Investments Pvt. Ltd AIPL, which invested in the company, boosting its credit lines with NRH and LIFT SRF. During the financial year 2020-21, the company sanctioned loans worth Rs. 28.83 crore, disbursed Rs. 2943.44 lakhs, expanded to 5 states with 7 branches and received Rs. 7 and 12 crore from SBI and UBI respectively.
