Founded in 1995, Sobha Limited (formerly known as Sobha Developers Limited) is a leading real estate developer that specializes in the business of construction, development, and sale of townships, residential and commercial projects. The company operates across 14 states in India, with a geographic presence in 27 cities and real estate projects aggregating to 29.33 million square feet of developable area. Over the years, the company has covered milestones, earning an ISO 9001 1994 series certification, receiving recognitions like the Brick and Mortar Award, and becoming a public company in 2006. In order to provide quality services, the company expanded operations to include manufacturing activities related to interiors, glazing, and metal works and concrete products, setting up an academy and R&D centre in 2003. In recent years, Sobha Limited has ventured into Joint Ventures, acquired several companies, and Buy Back of shares from shareholders. In FY 2020, the company completed 5.86 million square feet of developable area which included the launch of projects in Pune, Coimbatore, and Chennai with an area of 1.42 million square feet. Similarly, in FY 2022, the company executed and handed over 7.78 million square feet of projects.
