Sintex Plastics Technology Limited is an international holding company of entities engaged in the manufacturing and trading of plastic products in India, Europe, and the US. Headquartered in Kalol, Gujarat, It has two Indian subsidiaries, Sintex BAPL Limited and Sintex Prefab and Infra Limited, as well as a step-down international subsidiary in the U.S., Sintex Logistics LLC. With production facilities in Pithampur and Jamshedpur and a JV with Rototech Srl in Italy, it manufactures plastic fuel tanks, Diesel Exhaust Fluid tanks, CV exterior parts, and more. The company exports its goods to many countries, such as UD Trucks Japan, Volvo India and Thailand, and Cummins Technologies. Sintex Prefab and Infra Limited also offers a range of prefabricated products, such as midday meal kitchens, classrooms, and more. With customers like Trident, Raymond, ITC, Sun Parma, and more, the company has achieved considerable success in the past year despite liquidity issues. In the interest of focusing on the private sector, they have downsized their operations . 5122874 equity shares of Re 1 each have been issued to their equity shareholders for payment of USD 67 Million in Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds due 2022 (FCCBs) with USD 6.5 Million of FCCBs still outstanding for conversion as of March 2021.
