About Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd

Shriram Pistons and Rings is India's largest exporter of pistons and rings, located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The company has collaborated with Kolbenschmidt Germany for supply of piston rings for BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Ford, Volvo and Peugeot. They also have a technical tie-up with Honda Foundry Company, Japan for Hondamodel pistons. Shriram manufactures pistons, piston pins, rings and engine valves for global supply, including West Asia, Central Asian Republics, South America, Australia and Europe. They possess ISO 9001 certification from RW TUV Germany for export oriented activities and also have expanded their production line for Maruti Udyog. Steel rings and Rikvent oil control rings are also manufactured here. In addition, they received various accolades, including Trailblazer award from Maruti Udyog, Best Performing Supplier Award from Tata and Cummins and Export Excellence Awards in 1998. The company just introduced new models and piston rings to improve productivity and consumer acceptance. QS9000 accreditation and ISO14001 certification from DNV Netherlands have also been earned by the company during this time.
