About Saffron Industries Ltd

Madhya Desh Papers Ltd. was established in 1993 by the Maheshwari family, publishers and owners of the Navabharat Group of daily Newspapers. The paper mill is located in the Nagpur district of Maharashtra and had an initial installed capacity of 15180 Tonnes Per Annum (TPA). This capacity has since been increased to 21780 TPA. An additional benefit to the paper plant is the Cogeneration Power Plant, commissioned on the 15th of December 2001, which provides low cost and uninterrupted power and steam. This ensures that Madhya Desh Papers Ltd.corporation can produce quality papers for publication, with minimum interference and at a lower cost.
