About Newtime Infrastructure Ltd

Kumaon Pharmacaps and Chemicals was set up as a private limited company in 1984 and was later converted into a public limited company in 1995. It was originally promoted by P K Singh Bimla Singh and V S Devendra Kumar and taken over by Harish Belwal in 1994. The company set up manufacturing facilities in Ramnagar, Nainital district Uttar Pradesh to produce bulk drugs like 6 amino penicillinic acid, ampicillin trihydrate and amoxycillin trihydrate with a capacity of 120 tpa, 30tpa and 90tpa respectively. In April 1996, a public issue of 37.5 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each was made aggregating to Rs 375 lakh to part finance the project. The company signed a MoU in September 1995 with Medicare Products USA to export nearly 50% of its production to different countries in South East Asia, Far Eastern Asia, Middle East Asia, Africa, North and South America.
