About Rudra Ecovation Ltd

Himachal Fibres, which is promoted by B.K. Garodia in financial collaboration with HPMIDC, manufactures cotton and synthetic blended yarns. The company began production of cotton yarn in January 1984 and, through successful expansion initiatives, by 1991 had achieved full capacity utilisation of 17,664 spindles. In 1995 Himachal Fibres was conferred with the status of Export House from the Government of India and began exporting more than 75% of their production. Despite this success, by 2000 the company had incurred significant losses which exceeded their net worth. As a result, the company has been referred to the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR).
