About Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Ltd

Scanet Exports Ltd, formerly known as Scanet Acqua Exports, is a company that was incorporated in 1994 with the objective of establishing a Scampy Farm Hatchery and Tiger Shrimp Hatchery. The promoters, Krishna Reddy and Meera Reddy, were previously involved in the merchandise exports of aqua products, trading under the name of Coastal Sea Foods. The company intended to set up the hatcheries in Semmancherry, Tamil Nadu and Tatiparthi, Andhra Pradesh. There was a technical collaboration with J V Marine Enterprises Company, Taiwan for the project, and a public issue of Rs. 20 lac was launched in 1995. However, due to adverse conditions in the aqua industry, the implementation of the Scampy Hatchery Farm and Tiger Shrimp Hatchery was shelved in 1997. The company then diversified by introducing a Computer Education Division, teaming up with SSI Ltd as its channel partner.
