About Poddar Housing & Development Ltd

Poddar Housing Development Limited, a first-generation business founded in 1982, is a pioneer in producing low-cost property for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. In over 30 years of operation, the company has provided more than 5,000 apartments to date. It has diversified its expertise, creating a 100 EOU in 1992, constructing yarn units in 1994, and initiating cotton knit units in 1995. It grew its business even more internationally with a foreign exchange of Rs 18.63 crore in 1995-96. Real estate operations began in 2008 and in 2010 the first affordable housing project, Samruddhi Complex, was launched with a small capacity of 39 buildings and 589 flats. It also set up subsidiaries in Sharjah, Makara, USA, and even invested in Gopi Resorts. In 2017, Poddar Housing FZE ceased to be a subsidiary, and the company has since incorporated two new wholly owned subsidiaries. Recently, two more projects, Poddar Spraha Diamond at Chembur and Poddar Riviera at Kalyan, have been launched and Poddar Wondercity at Badlapur relaunched, with a 30 lakh sq. ft capacity. With a history of over 30 years and a focus on providing quality, affordable housing, Poddar Housing Development Limited traverses the city of Mumbai with its real estate solutions.
