About Paushak Ltd

Paushak Limited, an India-based company, specializes in the Speciality Chemicals Business. It is part of the Alembic Group from Baroda, India. Established in 1972, 40 kilometres outside Vadodara, Gujarat and 400 kilometres south of Mumbai, the company produces 150 tons per month of phosgene and its derivatives, with an annual turnover of $3.5 Million and a workforce of over 200. Its products, which include isocyanates, chloroformates, carbamoyl chlorides, substituted urea acid chlorides, carbonates, carbamates and others, are widely used in the pharmaceuticals, dyes, plastics, perfumeries and pesticides industries. Besides their regular production, the company also offers toll/contract manufacturing for phosgenation to produce carbamoyl chloride, isocyanate, cholorformate and urea. It also has an inhouse process development and R&D laboratory, and corporate support in Production, R&D, QA and other departments.
