About Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd

Laxmi Organic Industries Limited (LOIL) was established in 1989 and is in the business of two main categories of products; Acetyl Intermediates and Specialty Intermediates. Acetyl Intermediates include Ethyl Acetate, Acetaldehyde, and Fuelgrade Ethanol, and Specialty Intermediates come from Clariant Chemicals India Limited industries. LOIL is the largest manufacturer of Ethyl Acetate in India and has a market share of 30 in the Indian ethyl acetate market. With the most recently acquired YCPL Acquisition, the market share will be further enhanced. In 2010, they started innovating with Specialty Intermediates and has a market share of 55 in the Indian diketene derivatives market in terms of revenue. Their products has a wide application in various industries and they have customers in over 30 countries. The company has two manufacturing facilities, two distilleries and is also in the process of setting up a manufacturing facility for fluorospecialty chemicals. In 2018, LOIL sold 49 of the total equity shares to two individuals and followed up by incorporating two new wholly-owned subsidiaries in 2019, and later acquired one in 2021. They also acquired a Hydro Power Project in 2018. In 2021, they came out with an IPO and have been listed on The National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
