About Oriental Trimex Ltd

Oriental Trimex Limited, promoted by Mr. Rajesh Punia and Ms. Savita Punia, was incorporated in 1996 to trade building material and process marble, as well as mine granite. With processing facilities fully equipped with cutting-edge machinery installed across 3 marble processing units (Greater Noida, Singur near Kolkata, and Gumidipoondi near Chennai) and their granite quarry in the State of Orissa, the company imports rough marble blocks as well as semi-processed slabs from countries like Middle East, South East Asia, Greece, Italy, and Turkey, and sells them after processing in the domestic market. It also has a granite processing unit in Orissa with a capacity of 650MT. In 2007, the company came up with an Initial Public Offer to generate capital and finance the expansion program and the paid up equity share capital of the company rose from 5.6 crore to 14.8 crores. Production capacity at the Greater Noida unit was increased from 12,600MTPA to 25,200MTPA in 2008 and marble processing units at Gumidipoondi and Singur, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal respectively, commenced production of 12,600MTPA and 8,000MTPA in 2010 and 2011. The Company also setup three new exclusive franchisee in Dehradun, Cuttack, and Bhatinda with the registered brand name of Rare Earth.
