About Olectra Greentech Ltd

Olectra Greentech Limited (formerly Goldstone Infratech), is an Indian manufacturing company mainly engaged in the production of composite polymer insulators and electrical buses. In the Financial Year 200708, Goldstone Teleservices Ltd was renamed Goldstone Infratech, Ltd and underwent a restructuring. In 2009, new companies merged with GIL in accordance with an approved scheme from the Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh. During the same year, the company invested Rs 6 crores in TF Solar Power Pvt Ltd, and had to further invest Rs 1 lac in the same company in2010. During FY201213, GIL developed Cross Arm Insulators and Horizontal Line Post Insulators which paved way for their import substitution in India. The name of the company was changed to Olectra Greentech in July 2018, to reflect their current focus and activities. Since then, the company has successfully raised funds through preferential equity issuance (14.1 million equity shares at Rs.80.10 per share including a premium of Rs.76.10) and non-convertible warrants (54 lakh shares at Rs.4). A further two subsidiaries (Evey Trans Pvt Ltd and OHA Commute Pvt Ltd) were formed in 2018. GGL has secured its subsidiaries in 2021, being a 51-savings partner in Evey Trans GTC Pvt Ltd.
