About NILE Ltd

NILE, a technical collaborator with Hakko Sangyo Japan, manufactures glasslined equipment for the bulk drug agrochemical, finechemical, and dyestuff industries. In its endeavour to streamline operations and improve volumes and profits, the company undertook a backward intregration project in April 1995 and motioned the same with a 2MW wind farm in Anantpur district, AP, partfinanced by a public. To reduce costs and increase margins, a new 800 kWD electric furnace will be commissioned which will enable the company to manufacture glass lined reactors with volumes up to 2500 ltr. Having signed a know-how licencing contract with an Italian company to manufacture glass lined Nutvsch Filers and Filter Dryers, NILE has also acquired an ISO 9001 Quality Certificate from IRQS. Attempts to acquire substantial stake in the company by Gujarat Machinery Manufacturers Limited were challenged in Bombay High Court and Company Law Board, both of which were rejected.
